CAS Clinches Victory in UBSG Cup

The CAS Department emerged victorious in the University of Batangas Student Government Cup, displayed exceptional skills and teamwork to win and secure the trophy.

The University of Batangas' College of Arts and Sciences won the University of Batangas Student Cup as a result of being the best-performing team overall.

 

The university competition had a variety of events, and the College displayed excellent talents in all of them.

​

 

This accomplishment demonstrates the College of Arts and Sciences' dedication to excellence and the university's commitment to giving students a well-rounded education that equips them for success at the highest levels of competition. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this fantastic achievement.

The Department placed champion in the debate category and Ms. UBSG Cup 2023, Marri Queen Almirol while taking home second place in the ML tournament.

​

They also earned third place in the bench cheering, extemporaneous speech, modern dance and battle of the bands categories. 

The competition included other sports such as basketball and volleyball. 

​

The event brought together students from various faculties within the university and provided an opportunity for them to showcase their talents. 

​

The participants displayed sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the event, making it a successful and enjoyable experience. Congratulations to the winners and the participants for their impressive performances.

When ‘UB Express’ left an expression, but for the wrong reasons

To start off, sometimes flowery nonsense can be mistaken as progressive talk when a good speaker is holding the microphone. As the lone party list ‘Sulong’ took their moment to propose the plans they have at the University of Batangas Student Government (UBSG) Miting de Avance, one can get confused if the words spilling out of their mouths are thoroughly laid-out or just utter word vomits for the sake of an audience impact.

The Research Forum: Searching for the Best Thesis Paper in CAS Department

Research forum has been an annual event of the CAS department for 17 years, which led to acquiring student’s interest in creating relevant thesis research.  This time around, the CAS research forum was back on track with lots of participants wanting to clinch the awards for best paper and best presenter.

CAS hosts Bubble Fun Run 2023

To assist locals stirred by the oil spill mishap in Mindoro, the University of Batangas (UB) College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) arranged a Bubble Fun Run meet at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum Oval Field, May 6.
