The teams debated on the topics of jeep modernization and sim registration, with the CAS team coming out on top. The debate showcased the students' critical thinking and persuasive skills, igniting intellectual discussions amongst the participants and audience. The UBSG Cup Debate highlights the importance of improving communication, analytical and public speaking skills among college students.

The competition was organized by UBSG, held in UB Auditorium. Pursue participants from different backgrounds and perspectives express their views on the topic. The discussion was moderated by the judges that ensured that each participant had their say without interruption.

On the first round, the participants debate about jeepney modernization. CAS argued in favor of main argument against CBA. CAS highlight the importance of this argument and how it can help to solve the issue. They also presented empirical evidence to support their claims. Discussed benefits of the modern jeepneys, which disagreed on the opposing team.

On the last round, the topic was about the sim registration in the Philippines. CBA argued in favor of main argument against CAS. CBA focused on the argument of safety of the registration, specifically on the danger of misused of information that was used for the said registration. Wherein, the opposition team rebate about its safety protocols by the government.

The judges help maintain the event's order and address each competitor's respect for their fellow competitors throughout each round break.
